We can do whatever we put our minds to. Challenges are just accomplishments in disguise.
Sticking to what you’re used to is boring.
I wish I challenged myself more when I was younger; I think it would’ve helped with my coyness .
I do, however, try to challenge myself now from time to time. So far, I’m happy to say that it’s working.
I’m accomplishing goals I would’ve never even got close to, if I didn’t challenge myself.
It was needed in order for me to believe in myself more. As I’ve said many times before, I used to doubt myself A LOT.
I find myself drifting into doubt sometimes still, but I know what I’m capable of since I won some of the challenges.
Do you think if more people challenged themselves, their confidence would increase?
Over the past few days I’ve had three articles published in three different publications. For Blavity, I really challenged myself to write this article on raising the minimum wage: https://blavity.com/degree-or-not-i-believe-minimum-wage-workers-deserve-a-real-living-wage?category1=opinion
For Sheen Magazine, I created the Ultimate ’90s R&B Playlist: http://www.sheenmagazine.com/this-90s-rb-playlist-will-have-you-vibing-down-memory-lane/
For The Honey POP, I talked about why I will always love Nicki Minaj’s album, “The Pinkprint”: https://thehoneypop.com/2021/01/29/we-still-love-nicki-minajs-the-pinkprint/
I hope you all enjoy reading all three, if possible!!
