2 Ways To Boost Your Self Esteem

I’m not ashamed to admit that when I was younger, I had some self esteem issues. There was always something that I didn’t like about myself and I let that define who I was.

However, now I love myself more than I could ever imagine. I wanted to share two ways that helped me boost my self esteem.

My main goal is to help someone who is feeling the same way I left when I was younger.

Give yourself a “Pep Talk”.

No, you’re not crazy so don’t worry about the whole “talking to yourself” thing.

Pep talks have really helped me with my self esteem as well as other areas of my life.

As I’ve said many times before, we love to discuss things we don’t like about ourselves which creates nothing but negative energy.

In pep talks, you’re speaking positive energy into your life. You’re reassuring yourself that you’re living the life that you have for a reason. You have a purpose and you can do anything you put your mind to.

We look for reassurance in others but WE should be our own biggest fans.

Do something you love.

Don’t we all feel amazing when we do things we love? The things that we’re good at?

This helped me boost my self esteem because it allowed me to see that I can be a expert in something.

There’s people who come to me for help with areas I love like writing, broadcasting, marketing etc… because they see how well I’m performing.

And, I’m only performing well because I genuinely love doing those things. We can’t be good at everything, but we ALL have something that makes us feel like the smartest person in the world.

Find that activity. Make it yours. OWN IT.
