Entry #6- My Feelings Are Valid.
When I was younger, I was very sensitive. Sometimes, a little too sensitive. (I can admit.)
However, I wasn’t afraid to show my feelings. When I was sad, I showed it. When my feelings were hurt, I showed it.
There were a couple of times where people would try to make it seem as if my feelings weren’t valid.
They’d say things like , “it’s not that serious.” “You’re being dramatic.”
I, then, tried to show my feelings a little less but of course, it didn’t work out.
Simply because that’s not who I am. I love to show emotions, I can’t portray as a heartless person.
No matter who tries to tell me that my feelings don’t matter, they do.
I have the right to feel the way I do about any situation.
No one can tell me how I should feel. It’s okay to show emotions. I don’t have to be cold.
My feelings are valid.
