**This presidential election here in the U.S has to be the most stressful thing EVER right now, so I needed some positivity.**
When I was younger, I was extremely coy. I never wanted to speak in front of people and I only had a handful of friends. Never in my life would I have thought that would change when I got older. I never saw myself doing interviews because I feared saying the wrong thing (I was always worried I’d offend someone even though I was the sweetest person ever).
As I got older, I realized that I wanted to live my life as my true self and in order to do so, I had to get out of my shell.
Once I did, I found my love for the media industry and now I’m not afraid to speak my mind.
Being a butterfly is building up the confidence to break out of your shell and experience life.
When you’re bottled up, it’s like you’re a television in the 1920’s…old and drained. (Insider)
Once you’re a butterfly, you find your true colors and you fly and explore life in a different view.
Finally becoming a butterfly, helped me receive a lot of opportunities that I’ll forever be grateful for.
We should never live our lives in fear of showing who we really are.
Be a Butterfly.
