No matter what you do, people will always talk about you. Someone will always question your judgement. Someone will always doubt you. So just smile, and make the choice you can live with.

Now that I’m older and more mature, I’m really big on being yourself. It’s less stressful than trying to put on an image you can’t keep up with, just to impress people who really don’t care.

In life, we’ll have ups and downs. We’ll meet people who aren’t the best for us and we’ll meet people who are heaven sent.

Yet who you are, or who you’re trying to be, will determine which crowd you’ll fall into.

We’re going to be judged.

There’s people who won’t like us.

So why not just be yourself?

If you’re making choices that you think others want you to make, and not really because you want to make them, are you really living your own life?

Or are you living someone elses?

  1. Totally agree. I feel the same way! Growing up there was so much pressure to be someone else – someone cooler. But I think your late 20s are for finding who you are, being comfortable in your own skin – no matter what. ☺️
